Australian petroleum producers have benefited from Greg Sharpe’s recognition of the savings to be gained from a sucker rod, pumping unit designed especially for “portability” and Australian conditions. His recognition led to the uniquely designed “portable pumping unit” known as the SHARPE-PPU which is manufactured in Queensland for Australian conditions. The SHARPE-PPU continues to reduce producers’ OPEX as Greg Sharpe adapts and advances the product to meet the changing needs of the industry.
